A compact almost square dog with a broad skull, small erect eared and the high curled tail set associated with this 'type'. A happy confident nature makes him a good pet. The thick woolly undercoat and harsh topcoat does need work and trimming round the feet and anal area is almost essential.
Colours are all and any kind of markings are acceptable
