A cobby and compact spaniel with a distinctive domed head. A good house dog who does not do well in kennels. Eyes and ears need special care but tail docking is optional. The coat is long and silky, straight but may have a slight wave.
Colours are black and tan, tricolour, blenheim (ground white with red chestnut patches) and ruby (rich red chestnut)
