A pretty yet sporting and active spaniel, the Cavalier is adaptable and makes a good pet. Compact in build, long ears, large eyes. the tail is usually undocked. Grooming will be easy with the long silky coat. Colours are blenheim (rich chestnut markings on a pearly white background with lozenge mark on the skull), tricolour, ruby or black and tan.
