The name means the 'monkey terrier' because of the face and expression. They have dark eyes, prominent chin which is framed by a beard, moustache and topknot of wiry black hair. The tail is undocked and carried high in a natural curve. This is a playful breed and can go long walks if needed. The coat is shorter on the body and has a rough texture.
Colour is black but grey shading is allowed.
