The Vastgotaspets, is a small working farm dog from Sweden. This is a sturdy character with a long wedge shaped face and prick, leathery ears. His long back is strong and level and his chest comes to a little below his elbows. Some are born tail less but if present may be left undocked. The coat is smooth, harsh and of medium length with a good undercoat.
Colours are steel grey, greyish brown, greyish yellow, reddish yellow, reddish brown with dark guard hairs on the back and sides and lighter shades on the underside and muzzle. Instead of these lighter shades, white markings are acceptable.
