A strong compact looking dog with a rolling gait. The 'Bobtail' is tough, hardy workmanlike and even-tempered. Needs exercise. The coat is of hard texture, profuse and free from curl. Pets often have the coat cut down to make it manageable. For the show ground he needs his full coat.
Colour any shade of grey, grizzle or blue on body and hindquarters, with or without white markings, Head, neck forequarters and underbelly white, with or without marking
