The Belgian Shepherd - Malinois is medium sized, alert and attentive, he gives the impression of grace and strength. With square build and finely chiselled head, medium length undocked tail and moderate spring of rib. Should never be aggressive or timid. The coat of this variety is short with undercoat.
Colour is fawn, grey, red with black tips to the hair. Small white marks on the chest and hind feet only are permitted.
