THE PASTORAL GROUP
The Laekenois is medium sized, alert and attentive, he gives the impression of grace and strength. With square build and finely chiselled head, medium length undocked tail and moderate spring of rib. Should never be aggressive or timid. The coat of this variety is harsh,wiry and dry about 2½" long with hair around the eyes and on the muzzle.
Colour is a reddish fawn with black shading, especially on the muzzle and tail. Small white marks on the chest and hind feet only are permitted.
