A French hound. Low set ears which curl inward and must reach the nose. He has an aqualine foreface, long oval shaped feet and a distinctive colour. The coat is strong but not too short.
Colour black marked on a white coat, mottled with black which appears blue. Black face matkings cover the ears and eyes and stop at the cheeks. Blaze is mittled often with a black mark on the skull. A spot of tan above the eyes gives the four eyes look. Blue mottled is allowed but have specific tan markings.
